The 18 Bends View Point is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It is located near the 1st bend of the famous 18 bends. From here, you can enjoy an amazing view of the Mahiyanganaya and Hasalaka areas, along with several stunning dams in the distance. The place has some parking space and benches to sit and relax. There’s also a small restaurant where you can get snacks and enjoy the view peacefully.

An excellent observation point of the Eastern plains of the island. Surprisingly located on a private property. Ideally should've been managed/operated by the local government authority. Facilities for the visitors, specially foreigners, aren't satisfactory. No coffee/tea shop with comfortable seating with the view. Nevertheless the views are breathtaking. Recommended times of visit are early morning or evenings. But worth a stopover even otherwise.

We didn't really know about this viewpoint, while driving along we just saw a couple of families sitting and having tea, so we decided to stop and check it out as well, and we were not disappointed, we were simply blown away by the view.

The view from this area is beautiful. The the area is not really well organised. The way to the pets toilets is dirty. If they clean up the place, then if will attract more people paying through that way.
