I recommend this place to anyone who loves birds. It is best to arrive early to find any birds before they leave their nest, we arrived a bit late so we didn't encounter any birds at all. Only heard them on top of the trees. It's still a great place for a small walk, it took us 1 to 2 hours even while walking quite slowly, so definitely a calming experience even without any sightings. Avoid removing any thing even if it's in the walking path. The picket price for the local adult is 60 Rs + 18% VAT. Make sure to wear shoes instead of heels or slipper that would easily slip in mud or rocks.

Entry is affordable, and the best time to visit is early morning when the birds are most active. Though small in size, this park is a hidden gem in Nuwara Eliya, perfect for anyone who loves birdwatching, photography, or simply spending time in nature.

A small national park in close proximity to Nuwaraeliya town. You can buy a ticket and walk through the path which go a full circle. You won’t see much animals except for the birds which are also you may not notice unless you are a good birder. But a nice walk anyway. Not that good for bird photography as well since lighting is less.

It's hard to find birds around but for sure it gives a different experience. Ticket would cost only 70 rupees and the walking track is about 2km in total. Safe to go with Children as well. If I visit again, would definitely go again.
