The Ambuluwawa Biodiversity Complex is a beautiful and peaceful destination that combines nature, spirituality, and adventure in one place. Located on a hilltop near Gampola, the complex offers stunning panoramic views of surrounding mountains, forests, tea plantations, and valleys, especially on clear days. The site is well known for promoting religious harmony, with Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, and Islamic places of worship coexisting within the complex. This creates a calm and meaningful atmosphere that feels both spiritual and inclusive. The highlight of the complex is the Ambuluwawa Tower, which offers an exciting climb and breathtaking 360-degree views. While the narrow spiral staircase can be challenging for some visitors, the view from the top is truly rewarding.

Ambuluwawa Tower is a very unique and beautiful place with breathtaking views from the top. The tower gives an adventurous experience and the surrounding nature is peaceful and refreshing. It is definitely a one-time must visit place in Sri Lanka. However, the tuk tuk prices around the entrance are too expensive. They charge around 2000 LKR from the gate, and even more for the return trip back to the city. Some drivers also do not allow other cheaper tuk tuks or PickMe rides to pick up passengers nearby. The ticket price also feels slightly expensive and could be lower. Still, despite these small issues, the overall experience is amazing and highly recommended.

We enjoyed this place. You can get up by tuktuk, but we were advised to go by foot and enjoyed the nature) the tower itself was a challenge) but i climbed up despite the fact that I usually have anxiety problems 😁 views were amazing) definitely worth it!

We had a nice trip to the Ambuluwawa center and tower. Went up the tower and it’s a nice experience to face your own fear on the top as the stairs are getting smaller and smaller with every level. we drove up with a tuktuk and also had coffee on the top. Would recommend the trip if you have time for a little detour and no fear of heights.

- 服装について： 登山には歩きやすい靴が必須です。ここは宗教的な場所なので、控えめな服装を心がけ、山頂は風が強く肌寒い場合があるので、薄手のジャケットを持参することをお勧めします。
- 安全第一： らせん階段は狭くて急な場合があります。特に高所恐怖症の方は、手すりにつかまってください。ゆっくり進み、周りの人にも気を配りましょう。
- アクセス方法： アンブルワワはガンポラから簡単にアクセスでき、トゥクトゥクまたは車で約20～30分です。キャンディからは車で約1時間です。トゥクトゥクの料金は事前に交渉しておきましょう。施設へ続く道は急勾配で曲がりくねっているため、信頼できる車両をお勧めします。
- タワーの向こう側： 登山後も急いで立ち去らないでください。周辺の生物多様性複合施設を散策してみましょう。遊歩道や庭園、その他の宗教的な建造物があり、のんびりと散歩するのに最適な静かなエリアです。
